1. Overview
BS-GAMING is committed to preventing money laundering, terrorist financing, and other illicit financial activities. We comply with all applicable Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) regulations in the jurisdictions where we operate, including the recommendations of the Financial Action Task Force (FATF).
This policy outlines the measures we take to:
- Verify customer identity (KYC).
- Monitor transactions for suspicious patterns.
- Report suspicious activity to relevant authorities.
- Screen customers against sanctions and politically exposed person (PEP) lists.
- Maintain comprehensive records.
2. Know Your Customer (KYC)
KYC is the process of verifying the identity of our customers to prevent fraud, money laundering, and other illegal activities. All customers must complete our KYC process before they can make withdrawals.
When is KYC Required?
- At registration: Basic identity verification using email and phone.
- Before first withdrawal: Full identity verification with documentation.
- When thresholds are reached: Additional verification for transactions exceeding regulatory thresholds.
- On suspicion: Triggered reviews when activity appears unusual.
3. Customer Identification Program
As part of KYC, we collect and verify the following information:
Required Documents
- Government-issued photo ID: Passport, national ID card, or driver's license.
- Proof of address: Utility bill, bank statement, or government letter dated within the last 3 months.
- Payment method proof: Screenshot or photo of the card used (with middle digits masked) or bank account statement.
- Selfie with ID: For identity match verification.
Information We Collect
- Full legal name and date of birth.
- Residential address and country.
- Nationality and government ID number.
- Source of funds (for larger accounts).
- Occupation (for EDD cases).
All documents are processed by certified verification providers using automated and manual checks. Documents are stored securely in encrypted form and retained according to our data retention policy.
4. Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD)
Enhanced Due Diligence applies to higher-risk customers and situations, including:
- Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and their close associates.
- Customers from high-risk jurisdictions identified by FATF.
- Unusual transaction patterns or large cumulative deposits/withdrawals.
- Customers with complex ownership structures or corporate accounts.
- Any other situation where the standard KYC process is insufficient.
EDD measures include additional document requests, source-of-funds verification, enhanced transaction monitoring, and senior management approval.
5. Anti-Money Laundering (AML)
Our AML measures include:
Transaction Monitoring
We monitor for indicators of money laundering, including:
- Structured deposits to avoid reporting thresholds.
- Rapid deposit and withdrawal cycles with minimal play.
- Use of multiple payment methods or accounts for a single customer.
- Transactions inconsistent with stated income or playing patterns.
- Third-party payment processing.
Deposit Limits & Reporting
Single transactions or cumulative activity exceeding regulatory thresholds may trigger automatic reports to the relevant financial intelligence unit (FIU).
6. Suspicious Activity Reporting
When we identify activity that may be linked to money laundering, terrorist financing, or other criminal conduct, we file a Suspicious Activity Report (SAR) with the relevant FIU. SAR filings are confidential; we will not inform the customer that a report has been made.
Failure to report suspicious activity may also be a criminal offense for our staff. All staff receive training to identify and escalate red flags.
7. Sanctions & PEP Screening
All customers are screened against international sanctions lists (including OFAC, UN, and EU sanctions) and PEP databases at registration and on an ongoing basis. Matches result in immediate account restrictions, including:
- Account suspension pending review.
- Freezing of funds where required by sanctions.
- Reporting to relevant authorities.
8. Record Keeping
We maintain comprehensive records of customer identification, transactions, and compliance activities for a minimum of 5 years after the end of the business relationship, as required by AML regulations in most jurisdictions. Records are stored securely and made available to regulators upon lawful request.
9. Employee Training
All relevant employees receive initial and ongoing training on AML/KYC obligations, including:
- Identifying red flags and suspicious activity.
- Conducting effective customer due diligence.
- Filing suspicious activity reports.
- Understanding sanctions and PEP obligations.
